I just added pages for principals and superintendents under “Staff” on the menu.
I’ve gone thru the following yearbooks so far to compare them to the database for spelling:
Not all yearbooks are readily available to me, and no yearbooks were published for many early years (1940 was, I believe, the first year they were published every year).
Early yearbooks included lists of the alumni from earlier years, indicating where they were living and what jobs they were doing. These I’ve added to the notes as “creamery, Bremen, IN – 1908 yb”, meaning “working at the creamery in Bremen, IN, according to the alumni section of the 1908 yearbook”.
Uploaded a new batch of corrections today. These came mostly from reviewing yearbooks from 1902-1921 and 1933 and adjusting the married names and notes (the first few yearbooks and 1933 noted where alumni went and what work they did). Corrected a number of misspellings, double-checked against obituaries and other available research documents.
To see all the notes, click the “Graduates list” link in the upper right and sort the full list by “Notes” field, descending. Entries with notes will be sorted to the top.
